March 3rd, part duex

Today is also the feast of St. Sacer. In the 7th century he founded a monastary in Dublin and, well, actually, that's it, that's all he did. There has been some talk that becoming a saint in the 7th century was kind of like hitting 30 homeruns in the 1990s.

Yeah! And how could you possibly ignore St. Calupan (patron saint of weird guys who live alone in caves) or St. Cunegundes? I'm telling you....you defintiely do NOT want to piss off Lithuania like that by ignoring their patron saint...a friend of mine did it, and after the dust settled, all we could find was his Iowa State hat.
